In the last two decades Catherine Dyer has built an impressive resume on both sides of the camera. As an actress she is best known as the evil Agent Connie Frazier in season 1 of the Netflix mega-hit Stranger Things.
In 2022 Catherine was seen opposite Chris Pratt in Amazon’s thriller The Terminal List as well as guest starring on season 2 of Sweet Magnolias, season 2 of The Morning Show and on Just Beyond for Disney+
In 2023 Catherine will be seen opposite Benicio Del Toro in Reptile.
In the last few years Catherine starred in two hit Lifetime Original Movies: Psycho In Law and A Sister’s Secret as well as Guest Starring on Black Lightning, Queen Sugar, Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings and as Alexis Stevens on the Fox medical drama The Resident. Other TV guest appearances include, Greenleaf, Halt and Catch Fire, Sleepy Hollow, Zoe Ever After, The Inspectors, and on the hit CBS show Scorpion.
Film credits include The Founder with Michael Keaton and opposite Robert DeNiro playing Zac Efron’s mom in Dirty Grandpa as well as a pivotal role in Cell opposite Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack and as the ex-wife of Jeremy Irons in An Actor Prepares.
Catherine also appeared opposite Sandra Bullock in the Oscar-winning film The Blind Side, Demi Moore in The Joneses, and as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife in the action thriller Sabotage. Catherine has had recurring roles on Lifetime’s hit series Army Wives, and Necessary Roughness on USA Network. Other television appearances include: The Originals, Finding Carter, Complications, Satisfaction, Reckless, Drop Dead Diva, House of Payne, The Gates, Raising Izzie, Devious Maids, Past Life and Party of Five.
Catherine also spent seven years as a Supervising Producer at A&E Networks garnering her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2003.
